Here’s a pretty one who by this coming summer with have a lovely White Crown. A juvenile, first winter White-crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys) on ice, waiting for it’s Kingdom.

Ice is the word today! After a night of freezing rain this American Goldfinch (Spinus tristis) seems a little put out by it all! Can’t say I blame him!
